I thought I’d share a few highlights from the Disney crop on Saturday. If you couldn’t make it to this crop, make sure you sign up next time-it was so much fun! We crammed a lot of stuff into our day: a clear mini album make & take, scavenger hunt, a layout marathon and, of course, lots of scrappin’! The layout marathon was more of a sprint since we finished four layouts in less than one hour!!! Congratulations go out to Kathy F. for winning the grand prize! Here she is admiring her prizes: a 12x12 Disney album, an 8x8 premade Disney album, a Cricut cartridge and lots of embellishments.

There were also lots of other door prizes awarded throughout the day. Carol couldn’t decide which prize to choose. I think she chose the chipboard stack in the end.
One of my favorite activities at the crop is the scavenger hunt. Everyone gets a list of scrapbook supplies that they need to find in their stash. They frantically worked in teams to find the items in 5 minutes. One team found every single item on the list! They won the new adorable “Little Darlings” from Prima! Here’s the winning team in action:
In the afternoon we also held a silent auction to raise money for the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Cancer Institute. There were some great items up for bid including a Vera Bradley purse stuffed with scrappin’ stuff! Every bidder walked away with some new goodies while raising money for a great cause.
I’m already planning the next crop for the Fall, so keep checking back for details!
